Michelle, who is French, speaks English fluently and Spanish, and provides a Continental breakfast and  if required a home cooked evening meal.

Gemozac and the surrounding area is proud of its Romanesque Churches, Mills, Chateaux and Ancient Market Halls, local Wines, local Aperitif - Pineau Cognac, not forgetting the wonderful Fresh Fish and Shellfish in abundance.

On a Friday in the summer enjoy a visit to the colourful market, only a 100 metres from the property, or visit the larger market - Foire - held once a month,  or just take a stroll round the corner to buy a newspaper from Le Tabac or a Baguette from the Boulangerie.

The Charente Maritime is proud of its large Sandy Beaches and Small Coves, only a short drive from Gemozac.

An avid tourist would not miss the attractions of Royan, La Rochelle and Rochefort, all part of the character of the Charente Maritime, not forgetting the wonderful historic towns and villages bordering the River Charente.
